Aiming to extend the applicability of ePADs, our group reported the possibility of implementing pyrolyzed paper as an active substrate for the development of detection electrodes. This material is produced via a simple manufacturing process and features competitive electrochemical activity, low cost, and the possibility to implement a wide variety of functionalization protocols.
