If you passed Analytical Chemistry (with a B or better) and are interested in performing research in our lab, please submit a short CV (up to two pages, including current GPA) and a brief statement (1/2 page) describing your research interests. Students are strongly encouraged to become familiar with the active projects and recent publications from the lab so we can find a project that is a good fit for the student.
If you are interested in coming to Clemson as a graduate student, please check the Graduate School for the requirements to apply to our program. Women, minorities, and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. If you are already at Clemson and you are considering our team, please send me an e-mail. We are always looking for motivated students to join our lab.
We have a holistic admission process that considers many aspects to rank candidates including grades, research experience, letters of recommendation, publications, presentations in meetings, personal statement, and military experience. We offer time flexibility to comply with your duties as well as the option to start as a MS student and continue performing research towards your PhD with in-state tuition. More importantly, we appreciate and respect the mentality of veterans, who have have done very well in our lab.
