Lukas Garcia is a sophomore at Clemson University studying chemistry and artificial intelligence. He is an ACS Scholar and has participated in two NSF REU summer research programs. Last year, he founded Crystal-XG, a startup company based on applying machine learning to predict reaction conditions for crystal synthesis. He is now working on applying machine learning to create deep eutectic solvents for sensing applications.
