Dr. Benavidez graduated with a BS in Biochemistry (2004) and a PhD in Chemistry (2010) from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina under the supervision of Dr. Baruzzi. After working with Dr. Schmickler and Dr. Santos at Universität Ulm (Germany), Dr. Benavidez joined the lab to investigate the effect of potential applied during the adsorption of macromolecules to different carbon-based nanostructured films (2012-2017). Tomas then returned to Argentina and since then has become Adjoint Researcher at CONICET – Argentina.
