What an honor was to host Drs. Karen Scida and M. Fernanda Mora, both brilliant alumni from the lab! 

• Karen, who joined us as an undergraduate student published two papers and then moved to UT Austin for her PhD under the supervision of Dick Crooks. She is now a Research Associate Professor at UNC Chapel Hill. 
• Fernanda, after completing her PhD and publishing 16 papers, took a position at JPL where she is now a  Lab-on-a-Chip Technologist.
