Graduate Student
Biosketch
Originally from Fort Mill, SC, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Clemson University in Spring 2024, with minors in Computer Science and Genetics. During my undergraduate studies, I contributed to several research projects, including the analysis of COVID-19 variants across South Carolina and the preparation of live-cell imaging datasets to support the development of automated tracking algorithms for low-frame-rate video analysis. I joined CHG in Summer 2023 as a Bioinformatics intern and have since continued my academic journey as a PhD student in Clemson’s Biomedical Data Science and Informatics program, working in Dr. Aaron Masino’s lab.
Research Interests:
My research interests lie in applying artificial intelligence and computational biology to improve rare disease diagnosis and clinical decision support.
