I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in integrated science in 2020. In 2022, I completed a master’s in animal science at the University of Missouri-Columbia, followed by a Ph.D. in biology in May 2026. In June 2026, I joined the Population Epigenomics Lab at Clemson University in the Institute for Human Genetics as a postdoctoral fellow.
Research Interests
My research interests combine population genetics and quantitative genetics, with a focus on understanding the evolutionary dynamics of complex traits in humans. Specifically, I use statistical methods and evolutionary modeling tools to study how population history, environmental variation, and genetic architecture interact to shape the evolution of complex traits. I am also interested in how these interacting factors influence phenotype prediction across populations, particularly given the persistent transferability challenge of genetic prediction tools across diverse genetic and environmental backgrounds.
