GTG Travel Grant
As part of an ongoing commitment to support the academic and professional development of Graduate Students at Clemson, the Graduate Student Government operates the Graduate Travel Grant (GTG). This initiative is designed to assist graduate students who are actively participating in conferences, workshops, and other scholarly activities outside the university. The application period is typically a two week window towards the end of each semester for travel in the following semester
Grant Details
The Graduate Student Government’s travel grant is designed as a supplemental funding system to help support Clemson graduate students’ travel to conferences and other professional development events. All graduate students will have a fair opportunity to receive funds, based on their ability to convince peer-reviewers that their event is worthwhile. Applicants must peer-review other applications on criteria clearly known before applications are due, and will receive clear feedback on their application after the review process. The GTG provides financial assistance to graduate students to cover expenses related to travel, lodging, and registration fees for academic events. This support underscores the GSG’s commitment to enhancing the educational experiences of our students by enabling them to present their research, network with other professionals, and gain new insights in their fields.
