As part of the Clemson University Genomics and Bioinformatics Facility’s mission to make next-generation sequencing and analysis accessible, we are pleased to offer a two-day practical workshop on RNAseq and differential gene expression (DGE) analyses. Participants will be walked through a simple RNAseq analysis pipleline including raw data processing, read mapping, DGE, and interpreting outputs. Users will be introduced to software including Fastqc, Trim-Galore, RSEM, Bowtie2, Subreads, and two R-based DGE methods. Participants are welcome to use their own data, though example datasets will be available.

Upon successful registration and acknowledgment of the two-day workshop, individuals will be able to sign up for a two part live training workshop. Space is limited to the first 20 registrants but will be offered again later in the semester.
