We just received an award from the South Carolina Department of Agriculture ACRE Competitive Grant Program (Garcia, Whitehead, and Linton) to combine our expertise in analytical chemistry, antioxidant chemistry, and artificial intelligence to promote the discovery of novel, high-performance antioxidant blends for rendered fat.

Congratulations to Luke Page, who obtained the second place in the Catalyst Competition for his test strips that would test illegal drugs for fentanyl. Counterfeit pain pills often contain fentanyl, which is about 100 times more potent than heroin.
Our paper “Dielectric Spectroscopy can Predict the Effect of External AC Fields on the Dynamic Adsorption of Lysozyme” has been included as part of the Hot Topic: Carbon, Graphite, and Graphene collection!
