Welcome to BeakerBox!

 

BeakerBox aims to engage 6th-8th graders in the life sciences by keeping science fun and interesting. Our team creates grade-appropriate, inquiry-based activities and generates in-class resources for teachers. Our ultimate goal is to promote the understanding of concepts, science literacy, and excitement about STEM in middle school students. Our activities are based on South Carolina College and Career Ready Science Standards and utilize the three-dimensional (3D) model of learning integrated into these standards. The 3D learning model combines disciplinary core ideas with crosscutting concepts and science and engineering practices to improve science competence.
