Matthew Case

My name is Matthew Case and I am a chemistry major from Fort Mill, SC. I was interested in Dr. Anker’s lab because of the variety of projects which apply chemistry toward the design of medical implants and treatments. The majority of my work has been involved in designing simulations via MATLAB of a proposed optogenetics treatment plan where X-ray scintillating nanoparticles would be used to activate opsin-expressing neurons.
