2023 Torrick Fletcher

Tj is a junior undergraduate from Texas A&M University pursuing a BS degree in chemistry. He currently works in soft materials research under Dr. Sarbajit Banerjee’s research group.

This summer, Tj will be working with Dr. Jessica Larsen, learning to make polymeric nanoparticles called polymersomes for the treatment of sciatic nerve injury. Tj will learn to synthesize polymersomes, encapsulate different model therapeutics, and test their performance in cells and/or rats.
