Former group members

Luz Amparo Hernandez Carabali graduated from Universidad del Valle, Cali-Colombia, with a BS in Chemistry. She also holds a master degree from the Centro de Investigación en Ciencia Aplicada y Tecnología Avanzada – IPN in Mexico City, where she is now finishing her PhD. She joined our lab to learn about capillary electrophoresis and the use of this technique to understand the photocatalytic mechanisms involved in the degradation of various contaminants present in wastewater. She published the paper “Monitoring the Advanced Oxidation of Paracetamol using ZnO films via Capillary Electrophoresis“ in the Journal of Water Processing.
