Kaylee Clark

Kaylee came as a Junior in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematical Science. She was our favourite player in the Women’s rugby team, volunteered with ClemsonLIFE, and was a member of the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society. She received the Clemson Undergrad Award for Analytical Chemistry (2016 and 2017) and worked in collaboration with Tomas on a new project aimed at the development and characterization of fluorescent nanoparticles. In 2016 Kaylee also traveled to the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil) as part of our iRES Program, to perform research under the supervision of Dr. Thiago Paixao. After that, she moved to Colorado State University, where she obtained her PhD (2022) under the supervision of Chuck Henry.
