Carolina Mata

Carolina Mata is an undergraduate student at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She is in the process of earning a Bachelor degree in Chemistry with an American Chemical Society Option, and plans to apply to PhD programs in the near future. During the academic year she participates in undergraduate research investigating the enzyme BaiK for structural and mechanistic studies under the advisement of Dr. Kathryn McCulloch. Carolina will be working with Dr. Marcus on the project “Protein and bio-nanoparticle separations on capillary-channeled polymer (C-CP) fiber columns“.
