2024 Orendorff

Grace Orendorff is a rising senior at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. She is a GCC single-cell omics fellow, an organic chemistry tutor at UST, the president of the ACS student chapter at her school, and the analytical research leader on the health benefits of flavonoids using HPLC technology. She presented her findings at the National American Chemical Society conference in New Orleans this past March and is expected to speak again on the subject this coming year. She comes to the Clemson REU program with the hope of getting inspired and being able to take away techniques for her future Ph.D. in medicinal/clinical/analytical chemistry. This summer she will be working with Dr. Garcia.
