While the rapidly evolving field of biomedical implants have enabled humans to treat various diseases and disorders, implant related infections continue to affect the post-implant health of the patients. So, in collaboration with Dr. Jeffery Anker from Department of Chemistry, we are developing novel bioimaging technologies for early detection of such infections.
The global shift towards renewable energy sources has also exponentially amplified the focus on energy harvesting technologies. Our group specifically explores thermoelectric energy harvesting technologies.
