Clemson University and the Greenwood Genetic Center
The Clemson University Center for Human Genetics and the Greenwood Genetic Center have been awarded a five-year Phase I COBRE in Human Genetics grant to understand the genetic, genomic and epigenetic mechanisms by which molecular genetic variation affects transcriptional and other molecular networks in health and disease. Several positions are available immediately.
Greenwood Genetic Center - Assistant Research Scientist
A full-time faculty position in the Research Division at GGC, with primary responsibilities in independent research and functional analysis of genetic variants identified in our patient population. The specific areas of research interests we are seeking to recruit are: 1) transcriptional regulation; 2) RNA biology and human disorders involving RNA-related genes; 3) chromatin remodeling and epigenetics; 4) neurobiology and the mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders.
