In addition they were provided opportunities for personal and professional growth and development through numerous workshops, seminars, and panel discussions on topics ranging from the fundamentals of instrumentation techniques, research in the various disciplines of chemistry, career planning and preparation, and the role professionals in sciences.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 17px;letter-spacing: 0em\">This program was directed by Drs.&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clemson.edu\/science\/departments\/chemistry\/people\/profiles\/billp\" style=\"font-size: 17px;letter-spacing: 0em\">Bill Pennington<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 17px;letter-spacing: 0em\">,&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clemson.edu\/science\/departments\/chemistry\/people\/faculty\/garcia.html\" style=\"font-size: 17px;letter-spacing: 0em\">Carlos D.
