Since 2016, he is an Adjunct Professor at UFPE. He is the leader and founder of LIA3 (Lab. of Instrumentation and Automation in Applied Analytics) and has several active collaborations with Clemson University (USA), Pedagogical University of Maputo (Mozambique), University of Coimbra (Portugal), and the University of Granada (Spain). He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Analytical Instrumentation, High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography (LC-MS-IT-TOF, and GC-MS), Electroanalytical, Mass Spectrometry, Molecular Spectrometry, Molecular Luminescence, Methods Based on Digital Images, synthesis and application of Nanomaterials. The Methods have been applied to Environmental issues, Water Safety, Health, Food, Forensic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Natural Products, Industry, Chemistry Teaching, among others.
