Her undergraduate thesis research focused on adsorption studies of emerging pollutants using activated carbon\/alginate hydrogel beads as an adsorbent. Additionally, she investigated the potential for pollutant degradation through reactive oxygen species generated by the irradiation of dyes, such as riboflavin phosphate (Vitamin B12) and Rose
