Cole will be developing multidimensional separations techniques including a combination of liquid and supercritical fluid chromatography, high-resolution ion mobility, and tandem/high-resolution mass spectrometry for identification and quantification of performance-enhancing drugs. This will include anabolic androgenic steroids, selective androgen receptor modulators, metabolic modulators, and diuretics/masking agents in a variety of samples ranging from athlete urine to nutritional supplements.
