During my master&#8217;s, I conducted research on developing an affordable, locally manufactured electronic wheelchair for mobility-impaired individuals. That marked the turning point of my career from pure engineering to bioengineering, where I now conduct research on gene therapy for inherited metabolic diseases in the Cottle Lab at Clemson University.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Research Interests<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I have a general interest in translational medical research, translating ideas to the bedside.
