Tiger Talks is a monthly virtual science outreach program organized by the Clemson University Science Outreach Center. The program runs from September to May and features a 20-minute science lesson or talk led by a Clemson professor/presenter, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session. These sessions are conducted via Zoom and aim to engage and inspire children ages 8-12 with cutting-edge scientific knowledge and research.

Purpose: The goal of Tiger Talks is to:

  • Promote scientific literacy and curiosity among children.
  • Provide a platform for professors to share their research and expertise.
  • Foster a connection between Clemson University and the broader community.

Format:

  • Duration: 30 minutes (20-minute talk + 10-minute Q&A)
    • 9:30-10:00 am
  • Platform: Zoom Webinar
  • Frequency: Once a month (January-December 2025)
