The Clemson Science Outreach Center, in partnership with Legacy Early College School, will be offering a fun and educational summer camp in Greenville for children ages 8–12.

WHEN:

June 10–13, 8–11 a.m.

Legacy Early College Elementary School Campus

WHAT:

Electricity, Magnets, Robots and Rockets

■ Explore basic principles of electricity by
building and manipulating electric circuits.
■ Investigate how magnetic and electric fields
interact.
■ Build and test conductivity meters, electromagnets
and battle bots.
■ Experiment with Newton’s three laws of motion
by designing and building rockets.

Cancellation Policy: Withdrawals prior to May 16th will be assessed a $25 processing fee; these withdrawals must be received in writing (an email is sufficient). There will be no refunds for withdrawals after May 16th.

How to Register for Summer Camp

Near the top of this page is a button that says Register HERE. (Circled in purple on the screenshot below.)

Accessing the registration system:

  • If it is your first time accessing the site:
    • Select “Community Login”.
    • Select “Create a New Account”.
    • Under “About You”, Select “I am the parent or guardian”. Continue. Enter Parent/Guardian name and a valid, frequently accessed email address.  The information provided will be the primary method of contact prior to program start. Continue and follow the prompts.
  • If you have accessed the site previously:
    • Select “Community Login”.
    • Use the credentials you previously created to log in to your account.

Once logged into the registration site, select your week, and course, and complete all forms fully and accurately.
