In this lab, students will:
- Explore the structure and role of DNA
- Discover the origins and uses of restriction endonucleases (enzymes)
- Prepare restriction digests
- Analyze digested DNA fragments using gel electrophoresis
- Apply data to construct and verify plasmid maps
