Biosketch:
I am currently a first-year PhD student in Biomedical Data Science and Informatics at the Morgante Lab at Clemson University, co-advised by Dr. Trudy Mackay. I completed a Master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan. Before that, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from the University of California, Irvine.
Research Interest:
I am interested in using population genetics to uncover genetic risk factors for complex diseases among diverse populations. By examining gene-environment interactions, my research aims to enhance our understanding of disease mechanisms and improve health outcomes and predictive modeling.
